Where they started

Tree Experts is the real thing. Rob Rogg is an ISA-certified arborist who runs the crew with his son Hudson, and they own equipment most local outfits don’t — a Magni telescopic handler and a crane that make big, dangerous removals routine.

None of that came through online. Their old site was dated and effectively invisible in local search. A homeowner staring at a cracked limb over their roof had no fast way to see the work, trust the crew, or get a quote — so those calls went to whoever showed up first on Google.

How we approached it

Tree care is won or lost in local search. When someone types “tree removal near me” the morning after a storm, you either show up and earn the call or you’re not in the conversation. We built for exactly that moment: get found, then earn trust on sight.

  • A page for every service — not one thin list. Removal, pruning, stump grinding, crane work, emergency, lot and brush clearing, planting, inspections, chipping. Each one written to rank for what people actually search.
  • Lead with what’s real and rankable. A certified arborist. A family running the business. Named, serious equipment. That’s the credibility Google and homeowners both reward — and it’s all true, so we leaned on it hard.
  • Kill the friction. One quote form that lands in Rob’s inbox and texts his phone, plus a tap-to-call bar on mobile — so a lead never sits waiting.

What we built

  • A fast, static site — Astro and Tailwind on Cloudflare’s free tier. It loads instantly and costs Rob nothing to run.
  • A “Rugged Trade” look — deep forest green, safety-amber calls to action, bold condensed type. It reads like the crew that actually shows up, not a stock template.
  • Ten service pages with real copy, local FAQs, and structured data (LocalBusiness, Service, and FAQ schema) so search engines know precisely what they do and where they do it.
  • The trust layer: a service-area page, an arborist-and-family story, a work gallery, and that mobile call bar — the proof points that turn a visitor into a caller.
  • We kept their logo and photos, and rewrote every word.

Where it stands

Straight talk: the site is built, fast, and ready to launch. Before we flip the domain, we’re standing up the Google Business Profile they never had — the single biggest lever in local search — and lining up a real photo shoot to replace the stock.

Results come after launch, and we’d rather show you real ones than invent them. What we can say now: every page is structured so local-pack visibility, quote-form submissions, and calls are trackable from day one. The foundation to win their market is in place.
